Singham, starring Ajay Devgan is an action thriller which is being directed by Rohit Shetty and is being produced by Reliance Entertainment. The actor has gone through immense weight training to look the part of a cop, the character he portrays in the movie. Singham is the remake of a super hit Tamil movie of the same name. The Tamil version was directed by Hari.
In Singham, Ajay Devgan plays Bajirao Singham, who is a brave cop from a small village of Maharashtra. The female lead opposite Devgan is played by a southern superstar Kajal Aggarwal. The other star cast includes Sonali Kulkarni, Vijay Patkar, Sachin Khedekar, Suchitra Bandekar and Pradeep Welankar.
The 42 year old actor, who was until now untouched from the six pack fever has worked out religiously and is all set to flaunt the perfectly chiseled body with ripping muscles and six pack abs in place. Ajay took three month of extensive training from the fitness expert Prashant Sawant.
Rohit Shetty of Golmaal franchise is now taking a break from the comedies and is concentrating on some serious action stints, ones that are sure to take your breath away. Singham starring Ajay Devgan boasts of some elaborate action packed scenes. The singham movie shooting location are beaches and other spots in Goa. Singham is expected to be released by July 22.
